Tamara grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She moved to the Twin Ports in 1996 and began her union career at Viewcrest Health Center in the activities department after attending the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
She came on staff with the local in fall of 2007 as the special assistant to the President and then moved to a position as a union representative.
In her spare time, she can frequently be found blogging on PerfectDuluthDay, attending various music festivals, playing board games, or cooking.
She lives in Duluth with her partner and their two young children, Hazel and Walter.
